Yong Qiang Chartered Accountant is a small public practice accounting firm that serves the clients in Edmonton and surrounding areas. We provide accounting, tax, and other services for small sized businesses.

: t% ]. S+ Y ^6 G: aWe are looking for a part time Accountant who can represent our firm by communicating with our clients while performing general accounting duties. You will develop your skills by working on a wide range of assignments. The main tasks will include but not limited to the following: 6 d* F$ y) D6 I. c3 e2 _9 X- K
• Perform Full cycle bookkeeping duties (AP, AR, Bank reconciliations, etc.)
. L, W+ A/ s* B, L• Prepare CaseWare working paper files,
; g$ _( `: E, d) n; w• Prepare financial statements
+ n, I& i( i2 b• Prepare corporate tax returns
5 F) y# x6 L! k( {• File GST returns
% s' J6 ]$ k* i! V& W• Process payroll
7 s1 M7 ^- w* N& _• File T4/T5 returns
3 K8 O" [9 l* ?! g6 I* ?+ c6 h• Prepare personal tax returns
8 v& }" A; G" e) Y/ s• Communication with our clients and government agencies

The position requires prior public practice accounting experience, proficiency in Caseware, profile, Quickbooks, Sage 50, and Excel. 4 h$ u: c; Y! I( C8 s1 M& Z, E- M

Consideration will be given to the candidate who possess strong organization skills, have the ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines under pressure. Designation is preferred but not required.
