Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
. R% d/ K* s  ~& TEstimate food requirements and food/labor costs
" ]: {% g/ J( l# R2 L5 GSupervise kitchen staff’s activities
; D$ L: m: B& O& S  ^Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
1 p$ D2 X/ U+ L$ y1 nRecruit and manage kitchen staff
) V  l/ l1 R  U9 h+ o5 ]3 YRectify arising problems or complaints
Give prepared plates the “final touch”
Perform administrative duties
! {  [% ], P1 N. ~Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Proven working experience as a head chef

Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
Capable of delegating multiple tasks

Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
