Job Description:

) _5 Z3 X4 h2 b4 D4 y, qPlan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
9 J2 X$ X% V1 K1 \) |Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
: Y  o% v, c: h+ O8 ^0 B) dArrange for equipment purchases and repairs
Recruit and manage kitchen staff
3 g. `  a. P0 DRectify arising problems or complaints
% ^% M, {3 V% r$ h: dGive prepared plates the “final touch”
; x4 N. ?& K/ j+ x" U, PPerform administrative duties
$ _% s8 T9 H$ P, S3 PComply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Keep time and payroll records
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Proven working experience as a head chef
Excellent record of kitchen management

Communication and leadership skills
Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
6 J& J9 D( k8 I. bWorking knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
