Job Description:

Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
$ E/ V  ^1 G! D: V8 ]: ]Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
4 S: V4 n+ a) }9 M4 tEstimate food requirements and food/labor costs
Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
2 _2 U- K# _: {* Y( X  LArrange for equipment purchases and repairs
Recruit and manage kitchen staff
Rectify arising problems or complaints
Give prepared plates the “final touch”
Perform administrative duties
3 q3 u0 l9 W3 P- nComply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Keep time and payroll records
' B- ]9 S7 W! o( ?5 |' @9 MMaintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Proven working experience as a head chef
  j6 k- T6 N* c0 k' eExcellent record of kitchen management
2 X- Q, T& N  eAbility to spot and resolve problems efficiently
% t" N: ~  ]* A; x5 fCapable of delegating multiple tasks
! o+ S9 F' f9 vCommunication and leadership skills
Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
2 l. C/ Q1 C7 T/ _# _0 u1 G: ~Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate
