& {, W5 |: r* e  ]& fNo one was injured after a brush fire tore through a section of Edmonton's river valley on Friday night.
The fire started around 11 p.m. near the Wolf Willow and Rio Terrace neighbourhoods in the west end of the city.  
6 G% I( I% k7 [6 x. ^) w8 ^7 o9 bEdmonton Fire Rescue spokeswoman Sarah Meffen said 17 fire trucks were called to fight the fire. It was declared under control at 1:20 a.m., and was officially out at 3:20 a.m.
The fire covered a large area of the ravine, Meffen said, but none of the nearby homes were evacuated.
