We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.1 E* n& J" l Z+ _

• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.. x7 a3 \* {% F, R; m
• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.
o0 F/ v3 N- r1 q8 Q• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible

• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role/ ~ Q8 W/ U! M6 a- Q
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study5 h: ?3 F; ]2 x1 Y) M, M1 \5 ^) ]1 C2 q! K
• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills
( n' Y& J: I. g j$ v6 {$ I• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers
: A5 @7 ^7 S. q$ D& a( z( P• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)! d, X t% Z* z( ^
