Police have named the man who died in Monday’s crash north of Fort McMurray on Highway 63.
! g' {5 J I7 P6 ?0 EAlan Alexander Wong, 23, died from injuries resulting from the early-morning head-on collision. Wong lived in Fort McMurray, but his family is from British Columbia, police said earlier this week.

+ S: i3 A) i# ?1 f" v$ r9 A" u/ ~The crash happened when Wong, heading south in a small Mazda car, lost control due to weather and road conditions and hit a gravel truck and tractor unit. Both vehicles ended up in the ditch.6 r* g, P j/ x# U$ k' z! ]
The driver of the truck was not injured. Police said Tuesday they did not expect to lay charges. |
