Uppal also defends bill C-24, legislation that allows the government to strip citizenship from dual citizens convicted of terrorism or treason. He said when someone has been convicted and served their time of a charge as serious as terrorism it’s common sense to deport them., W7 @! W5 ^# U( F) Q' S: \+ T
“If we can have their citizenship stripped, because they’re a dual citizen, than I would rather not have them in this country,” he said.# c# X+ F2 a$ L

He said his party is unequivocal about the bill.
