Plant Payroll/AP

Your job responsibilities will include:
•Check payroll time cards, production chits and other paperwork, calculate production time. Key data into system and transmit to Nethris for processing.
' U6 D2 v( O' A7 e•Prepare monthly payroll journal entries for capturing labour and fringe benefit costs
0 @- @' @+ c( H2 }•Prepare monthly safety and statistical reports for management.
•Prepare payment requisitions for group insurance, RRSP, etc. as agreed upon by the union contract
/ w# c; B3 R4 ]! P/ Q6 Q. m•Coordinate work related accident and group insurance claims.
( c5 n$ z( j3 I& I•Perform AP Invoice matching
; r* j. @2 E/ }# i•Prepare month-end AP accrual

The ideal candidate will have excellent Excel skills and 3-5 years of payroll experience in a JIT manufacturing company. Exposure to the payroll system of Datatrack/Nethris would be a definite asset. Experience with union payroll will be an asset. Need to be able to speak fluent English, has advance reading and writing skills.
