Anything related to water frozen in basement is a serious issue, it has to have immediate attention.
Few minutes work if just the safety expansion valve leaks ( most probably only the valve)5 R& Z& t3 Y8 u' {# P! o

Ropen all faucets in the house including showers to drain all water out in the pipe line; 0 K7 ^$ a& v8 _& RClose the cold water valve to the water tank if you have one; ! b" f& r- ?; X% m5 ~Shut down the hot water tank by closing the temperature switch to off; * o. y+ n( \! U+ @' aOpen the drain valve at the bottom to drain all the water out; ! t' n# Y! The humidifier is even simpler. The drain hose is supposed to have water go thorough the humidifier filter inside the housing and then goes to drain when furnace is on. 4 ~* v% M" T( I& F; E6 }; O! B* }5 Y) l, H1 Q" R
