Hours of Work: 17.5 hours per week
- f2 |9 u2 R7 P* _* \( i* RKey Responsibilities
0 \( N" _' J" G-community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community
" J7 G; V5 }+ n& }! ^% L-workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
7 h, M6 N& Y$ J0 R) `3 I: `-fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
-develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
-coordinate and send out quarterly newsletter to members
5 y& Y' |% ?! t3 ?6 S8 |- B1 q-assist in special events coordinating: Open House, AGM, Volunteer Appreciation, etc.
-participate in ISP department and agency meetings/activities
-demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
4 g; m4 ]/ n3 q* q& _3 h! L& F( S8 l-participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
& h! q9 [3 [* t0 m-write quarterly and final reports for ISP
' H+ R3 N% w  H& u0 @4 \-assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time
6 U9 O$ {* P5 g6 L" A1 G, s-update membership database
3 Z" O% [* ]+ c7 ?0 q1 N) V! i& g-work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)
& k$ x2 m$ o7 ^) t-report to ISP team leader

Qualifications
-degree in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education
-good oral and written Chinese and English skills
-experience in community work and immigrant services
