When the option is included or purchased, exclusion 1 in the policy is modified such that, after any applicable waiting period, a stable chronic $ u, Z$ M8 M' A! S1 y E% r. B; qcondition (as defined) is covered under the policy.
“Stable Chronic Condition” means: a condition which is under treatment and which has been controlled by consistent use of medication prescribed by a “physician”; and 5 o) V! J- L) s7 P4 V' J) ^; n3 y• there have been no new symptoms or change in symptoms; and/or5 k, ?) w# }3 g
• there has been no “hospitalization”or change in treatment, medication or dosage in the 180 days prior to the “effective date” of this policy.! w7 m4 v: m* W* X% S. N! e
If “your” “physician” has determined that “your” health condition has improved and changes “your” treatment or medication or its dosages due to “your” improved health condition, this does not constitute a change.
