Are you an immigrant woman who:

6 p3 Z1 H# d3 j- G; {) S-  arrived in Canada less than three years ago?
) F7 t4 w3 k4 V$ ?) _9 ]-  has taken an English language assessment test?
-  scored at least a Level 3 of the Canadian Language Benchmarks (LINC)?

+ H; `/ f% G" n  s9 DIf the answers are yes, then you are invited to apply to attend our pre-employment program

. s9 M  G7 I  K6 JMAKING CHANGES PROGRAM is a pre-employment, life skill orientation program with an English component.  It is a two week program requiring four days a week or once a week for eight weeks for a total of 48 hours.

4 h0 U- Q1 V0 F/ X; }, g1 ^$ ]THE COURSE OFFERS:

•        Counseling to help you find what is right for you.
9 V' y6 E3 o3 K3 C•        Opportunity to develop your English Language skills.
7 A* C: E' [/ q7 g•        Opportunities in class to practice difficult situations, e.g. a job interview or proper telephone etiquette.
•        Information about community agencies and services.
, A7 I) k6 s& l% G; G6 q•        Information about going back to school, returning to work, or changing your job.
•        Continued support after the course to help you carry out your plan.

5 J7 J/ O: U4 [- p; j2.  July 17, 2006 – July 28, 2006                Mon. Tues. Thurs and Fri. from 10:00-4:00 p.m.
3.  August  21, 2006 – Sept. 1, 2006                Mon. Tues. Thurs and Fri. from 10:00-4:00 p.m.
4.  Oct. 21, 2006 – Dec. 9, 2006                Saturdays from 10:00 – 4:00 p.m.
5.  Jan. 27, 2007 – Mar. 17, 2007                Saturdays from 10:00 – 4:00 p.m.

哈哈....那地方啊,我刚登陆那会,还到过那当Volunteer呢!那是半年前的事了, 总的说那里的人还是很NICE的!
