买房的免税额度

去年买了房子,听说可以在报税的时候有7500的免税额度,不知道是不是真的。请问可以随便报在夫妻哪边吗?

/ T$ w* h) E5 ?2 m4 |You can claim an amount of $5,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home made in 2013, if both of the following apply:0 Y4 E0 V& l  J0 d; F. M! q
•you or your spouse or common-law partner acquired a qualifying home; and
# b' \% J6 H. F" o8 T•you did not live in another home owned by you or your spouse or common-law partner in the year of acquisition or in any of the four preceding years (first-time home buyer).
- l5 V% C8 z) k  ~" a2 ]2 @6 ]So the non-refundable tax credit is up to $750.

这样看似乎免税额度是 5000 不是7500?是必须买新房,还是买的二手房也算啊。

A share in a co-operative housing corporation that entitles you to own and gives you an equity interest in a housing unit located in Canada also qualifies. However, a share that only gives you the right to tenancy in the housing unit does not qualify.

在税表的Schedule 1 - Line 369行填上5000,折合成tax credit =5000*15%=750. 就是把你的交税额减去$750.

The claim can be split between you and your spouse or common-law partner, but the combined total cannot exceed $5,000.

; ]4 v2 w' B0 _0 g6 e) _When more than one individual is entitled to the amount (for example, when two people jointly buy a home), the total of all amounts claimed cannot exceed $5,000.
