Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday, 3 B3 i) c% Q7 S3 k
September 4th, 2006. Check in is at 9:30am on September 4th. Your check

to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds % |3 s/ m' W% f6 t
of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically
8 H8 h1 M( \+ u% |look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth : m# \( Y" D7 n+ U4 O2 i- p
of directional information.

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
. V( A j6 E7 ?9 A0 L" T9 qactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
8 U; `! A) p0 Ma variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday 9 ?0 |% w1 ~+ u9 s- g' ?
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
7 p: o! B* v& g( fHawrelak Park.

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on `- P- A3 `+ {: ]
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
- V. n$ \9 ?( X7 ^& ?to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from . H% K% x9 n, _$ f+ a% t6 O( T
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your 3 {, _7 N" \. m$ }/ K2 E+ W
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process - m y; ?' D" ~5 x- s) w9 H% G
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece ( Z& n) }8 ?" q
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
$ C. e1 _) L: iComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic , K( F' N: y+ e+ h" _: r
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
& ~! F7 H: s1 D# e+ ]( Mbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the ! R( C- `/ P' H# D# h4 b
two days of Orientation).$ l1 X# S) y( j% m0 x' P0 t
