(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By
- C7 Y4 C3 b8 e' Battending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of
% R* G8 t$ m% m! W! B; k7 S. K! Yinformation that will make your transition to the University community

Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday,

( d2 b* k8 N- ^4 ^1 O$ Z! Xto find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds - C A- a& y9 `) g/ [
of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically ; V w/ z8 w5 k# ^3 \
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth
% W' I, U, `" a8 W s/ P# _of directional information.

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening 5 u# e2 \( @( `, C L0 M7 ^
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend 6 l& G' c; {: f5 |
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
& K2 N$ j4 X! FSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
( v$ @, k8 \9 N1 J8 }, T9 hand then continue to meet with for the entire year.1 a# N' T1 ~7 b. t7 l

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
. R& I! f" H, r$ t% Bto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
8 k& |# A3 o& }& Jyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your 3 D* f; p7 C$ g7 {! W! m9 P
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process ! }" @* \, f9 j: ~- W, j
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
' b9 ?; S' u3 e+ M- c- F" p( wof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus }: p$ T* Z. F4 m
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic 6 n) @% }! n. I6 b% Z
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
