Position Summary:
To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.

% C* a5 Y2 g6 S$ R6 R4 A# y    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
4 k8 I+ i' U1 Q1 d, m7 ]: d    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
% {. v1 r# c! N4 S+ V8 F    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
$ [& x4 \3 {2 ?! s9 w% B3 `    Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
5 E( O1 g) s. x" S0 ]    Actively participate in training initiatives
    Participate in community marketing initiatives

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1 _, @* B! w8 @$ K7 I* L! s    High School and or Post Secondary Education
# j* Q9 Q  Z& f# B) F    Previous customer service experience
    Previous sales experience an asset
" a( n) B' J5 W2 q; c    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
( c0 S* \& P! a2 X1 C    Strong analytical and organizational skills
( Z. c$ w8 C" ?! L$ n/ w8 o    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
# e; j8 G, Y8 \$ O8 B7 U    Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution
