To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.

" U2 u8 `6 ?; LPrimary Objective/Duties of position:

5 j5 o6 s. I- O2 J7 F    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
; H+ C* b! c9 H& ]/ E    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
6 h! J( f( T/ `# U% Z! I& w8 ^    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
3 u8 Q  r! ]' ^; J0 Z    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
' K) X; x: ?8 m- _    Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
    Actively participate in training initiatives
. t' s& A# f8 Z    Participate in community marketing initiatives

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
) ^6 ~- y+ W" A
! ?9 j+ H% L7 ^. ?: r; V7 \  T    High School and or Post Secondary Education
    Previous customer service experience
5 t+ Q) t9 m" Y; x! x; Q" H, o$ E    Previous sales experience an asset
    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
" T( y, P: u6 ^& a0 s    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
  B! V2 c$ y- t$ j    Strong analytical and organizational skills
8 ^! x% B8 l' }& ]$ \2 b    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
0 y) s+ p% d, z, o# r. u1 b    Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution
