To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.  j# d6 C$ `% t. O

" t% g! O$ P2 UPrimary Objective/Duties of position:
* I# u) G, n, {  g# ?: A5 G8 k- ?$ @2 K
    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals2 E2 a) e+ K7 t# F6 e
    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
0 I0 g  I2 K8 a2 z# w    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
: f7 e9 f; ~) m4 B3 e7 ^" ^  ^    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
7 d- ^6 |8 N7 V+ W' x, i! `    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
  |8 W/ y9 o: h    Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes9 \4 V: M! R* y3 R  w! ^
    Actively participate in training initiatives" D% [3 C4 i2 m5 q
    Participate in community marketing initiatives
: w, K: R' Y2 ~9 U1 W2 W& J+ o" w5 L" g. N1 W
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:  t. F' _, J) w2 R' s

9 I+ d+ a; u6 t* ]7 p+ q, Q    High School and or Post Secondary Education
* A! S! x, ?. q$ ~$ d    Previous customer service experience: E) k6 D  l$ C7 k4 \  g
    Previous sales experience an asset. D, M7 }& l. m7 u0 z- ?% r
    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain$ Q! n9 ^1 `% r! v
    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully+ x  }! ^9 Z" V1 K$ F+ R# Y
    Strong analytical and organizational skills
3 o; C- W2 [! b+ M' v% r) U* a    Excellent verbal and written communication skills0 l6 M( Q# x. G
    Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution. U/ j. G- @4 o: A0 y5 o; B. o1 w
