Overall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales

Key Responsibilities:

• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales.

• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.

" T1 q/ T( C4 M3 y! j2 k; l+ t• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year.2 G* V) h' F$ k+ x3 |5 N; D

• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.9 o! m) i9 `" j# |. f' I9 D

• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.2 a+ ^) |3 l9 J3 h6 U( o; C6 v

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours.

• To develop customer relationships with gold level customer base and industry organizations.

2 d4 H5 F7 i# s• To build extensive product knowledge over various categories and be capable of driving sales in achieving sales & profit targets.

Job Qualifications( I- \9 Y1 x C
• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin

• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.
- Q# ]9 w% z4 H0 l3 x& b+ f
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.

% \: u) a8 M" F: ^' x• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.

. Z: M5 X8 @5 c8 ]9 Y• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.- F( p1 V% y" G6 O

• Travel within the assigned region.

. T, ?, L+ o. d+ W• Comfortable using automated selling technology in a daily setting – Salesforce.com
