Key Responsibilities are as follows:: _3 w* D; P8 s$ A T: S
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
3 b8 \9 Y# m. q4 z3 e•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
5 f; d; @! `& g9 R6 A- U* n- G- P0 M0 N•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting6 M' v: K, |0 O: f$ B! K2 Z( {
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
9 t+ V; N5 b! J: j•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
1 J" }* z7 J; U' R: r* p1 W, v•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;2 e: h) ^* X) B7 ~* i1 h
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;! b, U& b1 x4 k+ W4 ~, P
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential a6 l3 R# _' J x; P* b( o
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.6 f* Q+ S7 m, g2 m! ?% J8 K
