Position Title: Program Manager (Downtown Office) – Full time position  ( \' \/ L+ f& T0 r9 M0 c
Salary: Based on Qualification & Experience

This position reports directly to the District Program Manager

- |$ v) _" b+ s0 WKey Responsibilities are as follows:' x6 r0 l7 f; Z2 C
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services 3 i; I6 i& D; c$ i+ r
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of  up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
# c9 q, k1 S3 V( B•Required skills include:  understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting4 e$ B9 x* \+ p; a7 F
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
- L; {/ e( a9 m: ~3 K# u( n# a•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

8 I; I& ~& Q; C: }+ l5 ?% m) c8 _& W•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;3 a8 t$ o& A' a& D5 p& x
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;  W& G2 o% m: z. d2 H9 {8 l! Y$ J
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;6 q$ I, |3 o+ ^1 ~" _4 D
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
- p. n- v: M+ w•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
