•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services 3 D/ X5 _/ f1 [8 q. {/ n b R
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies* @! W3 V' C2 _# ?% {+ ~ |4 H. L
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
2 j4 K; z. C% `•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
9 Z3 o& V" m3 [- } J+ P•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

3 P$ g( ]/ B+ I3 E•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
# t0 E' a9 ?' q% w: w•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
, t' g+ p, h! A. b. |7 w•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
l1 j2 X' a; I) A•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
