0 z2 k- u" U* O* ~1 `' ^•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
G& f/ {2 Q: x5 I$ N•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
. d" @; L1 x' E9 ^( T, e•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting; R" o9 \. Z& x; R
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.' s6 E9 K5 C+ K2 Y% Y
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential# R M, U' o! X- e2 J$ s8 D7 ~6 x, J

Qualifications:1 m8 R/ `# P; I0 N+ z
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
& o M6 w, |; V( F•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;$ A6 O. D: ~* q$ R3 e
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;9 ]- \. p. ^- R a
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential 7 X: @& Q1 h+ A# }" v9 ]* X0 a
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.% |* J2 h% r1 o& Z# R! z/ |5 d9 a
