Key Responsibilities are as follows:! K/ G2 k1 j# o9 a
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services 6 V7 ^8 [/ J$ Q
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies! I7 k W) G! }! y K! g
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
' @" [: o8 ~% Y6 H( b+ J: D! V•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.4 |7 [9 [/ q5 _. w5 c( `$ ]7 @
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential |; e' e4 r. Q

Qualifications:! E( f; u8 H" r& Z8 s# d
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
( g ~" p4 u. M- ~8 |3 K•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;1 v7 i: n5 ?" _( a& @
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;, u7 a( p6 @3 O0 K+ O9 L
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential ! }" ]% K3 t7 U. c
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
