" F/ t* {0 r4 Q3 H, S6 S3 {•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
+ q O e6 t, v' p& V•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
; t8 I( }; u0 s: F•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
* r, H h. a, i•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
* C! M, z" g& ~7 M7 U•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

$ f8 o1 R5 P* p4 {4 x. } d•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
$ N9 I7 k+ M8 i+ q•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;" b, Y' l# L4 C3 i
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
( K' E* N$ F( Q•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential 1 y- d( V. c$ d/ m% ~0 G
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
