@% [5 _' f/ A- Y•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services t, }$ p4 L0 E" W, i8 p1 _ z8 V
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
* S2 ?/ F) L% m+ T7 {6 X•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
" ]6 n( U) A3 a& L1 R•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.3 O8 x a, @" ?% m
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

Qualifications:
0 k2 b* n" T- s•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;% k+ ?- k/ q# ^$ E2 _
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;6 U2 }. G! Y! @$ N
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
5 B9 l+ B* L$ r; i•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential / U9 @$ g; r: X
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
