Responsibilities
+ ?+ H9 i* a) Q- q* Z* e ^•Develope scopes of work for subcontrators and RFP packages
* W7 l0 | o0 i( U# b( T- O/ V5 h( r•Review all aspects of the RFP documents
& Y9 b+ e, k9 n& F0 B' T•Participate in the kickoff meetings with the project team and progress meeting throughout the bid stages
* D- K! {; b" F6 [ H3 X9 I, F0 b•Coordinate with subcontractors to understand the scope of work
: o1 C& x8 Z+ T+ d•Develope a basis of estimate - Lump Sum, Target Price, Unit Rates, Create or modifty templates used in Excel to build pricing* f( Q0 T1 y: p4 c; y9 t1 ~2 p. `
•Research work locations for local subcontractors within the area and build relationships5 N. Z L5 C s4 p8 N& ^
•Support subcontractor technical clarifications during the bid cycle% J9 V' ^) x4 r) f4 S1 T0 f
•Support subcontractor bid evaluations and make recommendations to the Lead Estimator
9 U9 U# E1 F& q! b•Liaise with Lead Estimator, Project Manager, and Project Controls to present key elements of the estimate which will influence the development of a bid schedule and project execution plan |
