Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

  D8 h$ \+ P" z3 K8 k9 b1 mWe are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

8 S1 G8 k7 g$ ~: iThe ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
8 G& u9 o. c5 A3 j% h" k6 @! z Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
# e# H# W/ V3 V$ o2 P3 j; k, d Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
+ W9 y0 P6 ?% `5 ~  Z* M1 D$ [ Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
 Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
 Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
3 o/ R* z" r5 w Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
 Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
 An understanding of family violence is an asset. The hourly rate is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on the qualifications of
