Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

+ E  L6 b9 J* \* K- F9 j5 ^) \  jWe are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

+ P+ _9 g" f) C/ [' M2 [$ r  MThe ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
 Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
 Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
 Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
9 w9 G* p) R' u6 U8 }8 Q& M Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
  k4 Q- K5 \1 B; w1 l. s Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
 Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.

! Z/ B+ r% }) P- k, V$ b An understanding of family violence is an asset. The hourly rate is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on the qualifications of
