; T, P8 t/ _' q9 g" J•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.
: g, E% |& \! C" l: l•        Oversee hotel security requirements.
. B7 ?5 x6 K& i& c9 u•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.
3 x' E% ^1 c; P1 E•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation. 4 u) l3 T* ]3 T* t$ U6 i5 {
•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.
% {& w" |, C" u3 Q4 b7 d" P, R8 @•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.# P5 e. w3 D2 \# p1 H
•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
# C, v  M" |/ u# x0 {( e& z8 e•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.0 b6 f& b6 X; a2 m$ y$ z
•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff. ) r5 h1 |" ?1 P) D
•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term. + I5 Q" C# o+ @& R1 {+ Y# r
•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed. 8 r  ^5 B* h2 y! p
•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service.
" K5 `* h5 ?7 {+ H9 p1 g+ t, j7 W•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.
* Z: d2 b- ^# u# |9 M, w•        Attend Cluster meetings. - j& m8 w' w& ~' D3 m: t
•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.  F1 @  T( b: L# v
•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department ( C( ?* {6 ^9 y6 B9 O4 t0 p
•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies% o  U9 O. R+ j# v
•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center

4 V; p* E3 A$ r' x% \•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
* w+ \' o; i7 }+ u( Z• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;+ Q, R  Q4 s- o4 Y6 D$ G  S
• Ability to lead and develop;
$ w. Z4 W1 T: J4 z  T• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;, q/ p: v. T, S0 m
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;6 H1 }6 _$ X) T+ `; l/ P
