Job Responsibilities! Z5 L3 Q( d  I' u8 p
•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues., Y0 N/ h/ u3 t& {5 z
•        Oversee hotel security requirements.
' \3 ^( F9 z; s) ]3 v7 G( I•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.; T# E; S& r9 C( U' V4 [! ~
•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation. 7 I2 {* Z" K- `5 `8 I8 M* ^
•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.2 g# ^. w: M8 B& S3 e6 G
•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.3 a+ `) I7 b' T2 H7 H
•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
- l- u. O' u, b$ d6 u$ W7 m/ z•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.# _) u. J0 o' N! u" k# ^
•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff. 2 N) ~  P- A6 I/ }' J3 L
•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.
9 n" o+ v$ D3 S# w8 h•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed. % U$ |6 E& z, e8 w8 q9 K
•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service.
  i" Y& V7 i8 D( X+ {; k, `•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware./ B- H3 h2 C4 W5 P/ c
•        Attend Cluster meetings.
2 Z+ ]: e( ^' F3 Y7 k' p•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.9 F' S/ Q6 _$ \8 C2 n9 P% G' K
•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department
" {1 e) K3 z0 s: C" N: q$ ^1 C•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies
: |* L* S* Q" E/ O7 g: Z& O1 S•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center! ?8 P! n. L* n5 V5 f
•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float

Requirements:6 z5 ^2 o$ `9 y5 H* k/ a$ t
•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
! z' W6 Z1 i1 }5 I+ x5 G• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
" s* p8 A: Y+ m• Ability to lead and develop;3 q5 L, ]' e8 [& C1 T2 m
• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;
' [( v: @9 q$ r( O• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
9 s7 @$ @8 X" T5 R6 Q# V• Ability to work within deadlines;
" z! @9 \/ B1 {4 ]- J: p• High level of creativity and innovation;  Y4 M$ }) o3 f  C, c
• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;4 n6 M4 d# R7 g- |, r
