& V. w. Y9 ]! i- x1 H# J•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.( R! O2 V$ P" g" Y) X) ^' j, p
•        Oversee hotel security requirements.
  y; Y6 A/ H4 s•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary./ `& {* e3 [" R# ~
•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation. : y9 R" \/ ]& n" T3 s
•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.7 X3 S8 L7 ~6 b& ^8 R( H; o, X3 J
•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.
" {( S/ @! h/ {/ h$ E6 m8 e) a•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
  ]& x! `6 M$ t. n' l+ J8 n2 r% j2 b•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.9 l9 U" J" d/ W* s
•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff. + [8 \& q  E' b2 E% N$ I" P  H
•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term. " E% R% n' x0 X" Y
•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed. 6 }: q/ T8 n0 l( P) U: u
•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service. * K% |/ `8 B( g1 v. e% e
•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.
; B* B/ j3 Z/ M4 O! D% H: ~3 C•        Attend Cluster meetings. ' f' z8 a' S' `( ^7 k" i
•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.
+ r0 |- V* N8 |3 x•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department
& A+ M6 _# n1 x2 W0 O) W- m! s1 m•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies
, B3 j& W# {1 W2 @" e# V4 w•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center

Requirements:
5 ?2 n2 z4 P- D' e( W•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property/ `; P) |' r: v* z0 Y
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
3 d0 Y, o7 N( r• Ability to lead and develop;
' L$ U  z6 E, ~  q# C4 q. D• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;% e% ~2 ^/ y% B/ v% w% B
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;: ~; @. e9 {' d# S$ Z
• Ability to work within deadlines;: j  j, j$ V: k* V
• High level of creativity and innovation;
* h6 @% P* o$ \6 ^' O0 M6 Z- h• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;+ k4 m/ a: a4 {* X9 H, Y$ n5 J
