Job Description:
6 ~  h* O6 i, C/ f2 p; sJob Responsibilities
. R: Q& S- V: W•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.* M. S# a2 R; ^
•        Oversee hotel security requirements.
+ f" Y- h; {4 R2 s•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.
# m, H( E" o) R/ \# x9 S5 @9 i•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation.
% u+ B% N: M% P) \•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.
! q: F+ |0 @: G3 j7 s  n•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.8 }2 W) C" ?6 o3 K8 B- Q- l
•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.( ~& J: K1 i6 N. v& e, _, \
•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.  a) L( [. U% r# E
•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff.
' S' G; g% R7 |# X8 p9 p( z- t•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term. 4 m) R7 R; d/ i  b) `
•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed.

" W- g$ V: l# `. G- o: C•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.
1 _8 ]5 G8 @& X# [•        Attend Cluster meetings.
: [( h. o) F' @6 E0 F•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.+ \. x. b2 T% F/ f
•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department . o% t0 L  W% H" K3 O
•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies; d8 _( R. \3 ^- P4 j- T- [
•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center
& ]' ~  W" N& W( \+ q" w+ j8 o•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float 0 _$ u* ^' w, G/ @' H) H
•        Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager0 {& r/ E1 M5 A) X9 u

Requirements:! C7 p& Y$ V; x$ |7 s
•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
. l) Q5 X6 z' X/ g• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;3 h3 r7 B; v* U7 c9 K3 O; M8 n
• Ability to lead and develop;8 s' F+ H# B8 m/ ^5 X
• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;
