• Offer support and assistance to the General Manager in the following areas: $ _2 N/ S/ C+ A$ Q# d0 W
• Develop, prepare, execute and achieve financial goals;
* f! {$ U" @ ^- x; J• Provide timely and accurate financial statements;
7 _2 }% I1 w4 O* H* B1 r! k• Maintain the system of internal checks designed to prevent or promptly detect unauthorized transactions;

• To reconcile all supplier accounts, to post all payables, and to pay vendors in accordance with due dates and cash flow projections;3 I) m3 u, h" q

• To set up, track, record, and process all payrolls; to handle related HR and benefit matters as required

• To ensure all Hotel’s contracts have proper authorization, negotiations for renewal and are properly filed and are easily available for corporate review;# y* m) Z9 B! V( m Y
• To ensure that there is an effective system of purchasing, receiving, and control of supplies in place at all times with proper requisition procedures;
/ _3 ~/ B1 t$ C& B7 Y3 {; ^• To ensure that usual and exceptional purchases are approved consistent with the budgeting and forecasting system;

• To provide month-end packages to the Corporate Office and assist in the preparation of financial statements;

• Issue and monitor cash floats;

• Duties associated with Controller Position including but not limited to the above listings.

• Strong accounting knowledge to handle a complete accounting cycle in a centralized environment.

1 o2 I1 C1 z5 k! g# g2 R• Supervisory experience within the hotel industry; * r# z! e; T, X
• Knowledge of development and execution of business plans and budgets; 5 R; c, e q' N
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and administration skills;
7 m% R/ g( {0 L' U2 N. f• Proficient / familiarity with computerized systems such as : hotel PMS, Oracle and ADP payroll systems.
