• Offer support and assistance to the General Manager in the following areas:
" |3 B0 n8 p. y+ E: |• Develop, prepare, execute and achieve financial goals; . p+ A* y3 D; @& e# h
• Provide timely and accurate financial statements; : t6 D4 |* h I" S' W! U5 J
• Maintain the system of internal checks designed to prevent or promptly detect unauthorized transactions;: H/ ?" R0 ] j( {# S# H- s3 i9 y
• To analyze Hotel’s performance versus budget and investigate variances as required;* E! f7 P& e* ]% x7 V8 P
• To monitor operational expenditures in conjunction with approved budgets; $ m* p+ Q& `/ I, I* Q+ y
• To reconcile all supplier accounts, to post all payables, and to pay vendors in accordance with due dates and cash flow projections;

• Maintain all company policies and procedures;

• To ensure that there is an effective system of purchasing, receiving, and control of supplies in place at all times with proper requisition procedures;- c4 g. l8 e3 |! B* h$ S
• To ensure that usual and exceptional purchases are approved consistent with the budgeting and forecasting system;/ Q8 O4 ^" }. O" d
• To ensure all accounting procedures comply with corporate accounting systems;
6 O C5 E! N. K; u• To provide month-end packages to the Corporate Office and assist in the preparation of financial statements;3 k% q1 v, X/ x/ u
• Supervise and assist the Accounting support Team (Night Audit) 8 _8 f# Y. L6 v2 v

• To provide information to Corporate Office as required;

• Strong accounting knowledge to handle a complete accounting cycle in a centralized environment. t1 z1 S/ t9 h0 k- F, A0 f
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and owners in a professional manner;/ X% d* g( i; ]$ @! B7 Z
• Supervisory experience within the hotel industry; 7 y' t0 A) `' d2 s) G8 p' A
• Knowledge of development and execution of business plans and budgets;

• Proficient / familiarity with computerized systems such as : hotel PMS, Oracle and ADP payroll systems.
