To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
% ~8 m& d8 Y; d• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;3 w& P$ P5 a- ?- M1 N- M' _
• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;) G1 V2 @8 k3 M7 B
• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;  ~0 a" u; y$ l/ E+ v5 C
• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.# T! T3 R0 w$ Z) Y5 h4 f, p
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;
/ K) v2 d4 X' \. I/ J• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;) y+ d" Q& }/ `$ @; K( p; ], U: Z
• Participate in trade shows;1 |0 q8 [+ R  k  b, _
• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
9 X: g* V' e* u* Q' u, c• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;2 C# j" |% e5 ~: }4 ~
• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;

Requirements:
; G% t+ I+ m) {+ w) F# [, ~1 P$ `•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
' \- B5 \: Z0 t% ^9 b1 |! z- i5 q. v• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
+ _7 z- `. [+ A- ^4 |: [) D• Ability to lead and develop;4 @3 R* y0 m  a: g, E2 b6 A/ b
• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
9 h* h+ p  K- J" h  w3 j• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;

• Ability to work within deadlines;
