: L' Q5 v+ o5 ~To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

& i4 }6 d% ^' f2 r7 B6 _) v, V• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
# M& l. ^7 s1 F9 f• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
8 s& b$ b- Q1 B) m2 k3 U: q• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
+ l! a: g/ M) @' {* {, K• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;
) n$ r1 C; C3 w• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;
• Participate in trade shows;
• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
3 U$ H7 O; d" _) C4 b, B5 o• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;
• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;
• Ensure top level delivery of expected guest service;

Requirements:
: T' ~4 D  V$ |' h# d4 e0 E•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
- X1 M" f2 F  P1 ^• Ability to lead and develop;
! a0 [% p! @( Z* c' N  \4 P# Q' O• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
( `# i: [  i% U# F9 H- e• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
• Ability to work within deadlines;
• High level of creativity and innovation;

+ [& Q* A; O* @0 X• Strong interpersonal skills and a working knowledge of ACT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
