) o$ \  S& s1 b3 o& j" _To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
! X: Q8 Q( v# O3 X• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
3 w2 a' W' |$ ~4 g4 ]7 j5 i• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
( _& D. {( w* P$ ^5 a+ o7 H# {• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;
• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;

• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
& c* D+ `7 e: q! s7 t• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;
• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;
% R$ n- Z& t' |8 b• Ensure top level delivery of expected guest service;

Requirements:
! N% N, a; D! K6 J, _) A" Y% A•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
( h8 F+ a0 K  t7 ]1 h1 O• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
• Ability to lead and develop;
• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
• Ability to work within deadlines;
• High level of creativity and innovation;

• Strong interpersonal skills and a working knowledge of ACT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
