To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
# }, `: d1 V% W! z0 ~& ]/ X• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
/ [! J! A% e3 F% l7 Q1 B4 s• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;
• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;
• Participate in trade shows;
• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;

Requirements:
9 n+ k) Z! @3 z, m  g•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
" t  }" \6 h) U( S1 }9 k• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
• Ability to lead and develop;
9 |, m8 D7 O4 w' l# I! k0 q• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
% [8 J' {0 r( z% z; z• Ability to work within deadlines;
" ]% W6 `6 z+ ?2 D3 r  s• High level of creativity and innovation;
• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
• Strong interpersonal skills and a working knowledge of ACT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
