' o4 j. j3 y6 p8 oTo acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
+ j/ O8 {6 `" _2 i• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
, }5 b$ Q0 a. |• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
, t# t: `. D1 r, G* ^" Y8 N% T• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;
• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;
$ d, u& B; U# ?+ T# Y• Participate in trade shows;
" Y; }; ^! v" h5 I3 Z5 O• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;
• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;

5 @' i" e; S; P/ f% F' @7 V4 n•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
• Ability to lead and develop;
8 g) _+ `* k' @/ C2 ]2 y4 ]+ p• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
% l/ y' J% ]6 B• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
; S' ]3 _4 l8 o• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
6 v1 `# h0 o5 C• Ability to work within deadlines;
% v5 d4 j) P; i1 b) {, T• High level of creativity and innovation;
• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
• Strong interpersonal skills and a working knowledge of ACT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
