Location: The job is based in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, however frequent travel to project sites in various provinces of Canada is required.

+ i- V2 Z, p6 O m" TResponsibilities and Tasks
/ j: S1 D/ V% K4 p1 o8 B" I% N& L" a2 j; E( W5 Y
- Connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors and control equipment 7 D6 D' N3 H: c" r5 W8 P! _
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form to determine layout requirements. v0 }' } R( a1 q
- Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines/ e; V2 P9 s& S/ Z
- Select type and size of pipe required
+ `* a2 Q: I) }' R5 p- Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power tools, u n5 j5 H$ g" |8 d/ X
- Weld, braze, cement, solder and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping system, M' o) C$ b0 m$ M, E2 y7 M. H
- Install supports, valves, piping and control systems- p* {) U5 _/ o
- Test system for leaks using testing equipment' Q% _& {$ r4 Z
- Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system

- Actively participate in the Iyinisiw safety program

Required Qualifications& L8 ~) o2 n7 A5 x' _
/ P" ~3 w1 \/ h* P. f' `
- Completion of secondary school, T0 X) T4 c6 s
- Completion of formal Apprenticeship Program of four- to five-years or a combination of over five years of work experience in the trade and some high school, college or industry courses in pipefitting system installation
: _. g: ~" L9 J# g; ]$ _8 O- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

- Safety tickets are considered an asset
