上课过程中就同学提出的关于剑七的33和36的矛盾的问题的分析。
3 U+ Z3 i! G3 B; A+ Q1 A: |7 | 剑七阅读比较纠结的就是这两道题，几乎印证了<十四种体型做题技巧>所说的,“是非题本身有一定的缺陷，即不严密。有些题很难自圆其说。”
33题中的similar应该指的是倒数第三段中，Such methods are not unusual in language teaching. 后面说的What is distinctive in the suggestopedic method is that they are devoted entirely to assisting recall…another difference from conventional teaching is…会对其造成干扰。
因为上文只有methods是复数形式，所以they应该指的是methods，所以suggestopedic method 是distinctive而不是such methods。实话讲这么解释很牵强，但是已经是最好解释，这题我最初也是选true，看了后面又改成false，看来还是该相信第一直觉。
, h$ ?# J8 L: G: s  t: z7 U0 M 36的比较级同学很困惑，所以NG的比较多。如果单纯从字面解释，就只能说another difference from conventional teaching,因为是不同，所以不是多就是少，而上一段preliminary talk暗示一课只学several hundred words，算是其选true的佐证了吧。这类两头通的题是比较麻烦的，也是避免让你得满分的（那次拿9分纯属侥幸），因为阅读能力比较好的考生容易推理，所以反而容易给出不一致的答案。
37和38有人是用可数不可数名词形式判断的，但是ritual和placebo其实都是两种形式都有，关键是a certain amount of很少接ritual这类的词。
$ J2 M! t" h: T/ B6 P. P  |9 i 39不用unspectacular的反义词主要是看原文里notoriety，这里关注的是其被人熟知程度，而不是伟大程度。

上次作文Thesis statement的问题， As a result, horrible Internet games expose children to cyber bullying, perversely shape juveniles’ personality, values and attitudes, and stimulate juveniles’ imaginations towards crime. 在parallel construction里面，短语之间的语法形式要求一致，这一点在SAT写作部分的挑错单元最常考。在写thesis的时候，最忌讳出错，会扣很多分，所以应该尽量避免redundancy。可以改成， As a result, horrible Internet games breed cyber bullying and  crime disposition, which perversely shape juveniles’ personality, values and attitudes.

虽然《Barron’s SAT 2400》中提到，若想过SAT词汇关，起码要读Jane Austen， Thomas Hardy或是Charles Dickens。但是如果觉得这些书实在boring或是outdated，可以试试Margaret Maron或其他当代的侦探小说。通过阅读可以发现，在小说中，词汇的丰富程度排列应该是历史、侦探、传记、爱情、恐怖和科幻。在《Three-day Town》里，SAT词汇随处可见，如：impeccable, hefty, pantomime, south-handed, tarp, asthma, elastic, kleptomania。更有意思的是，小年轻口语常说的“呦”其实不是“yo”,而是“Y’all”。

口语考试中最基本的VEG技巧里，voice还是排在第一位的，考生在空荡荡的教室里面对考官如果声音不够力度会给对方不自信的感觉，而且也容易让自己越说越胆怯，声音走板，发颤音，stutter。所以，虽然不是要shouting or yelling那样的一“鸣”惊人，但起码应该给人耳目一新的感觉。
