Responsibilities

·         Engineering 480V to 38kV switchgear

·         Engineering 2.4kV to 7.2kV Motor Control Centres including softstarters and autotransformer starters

$ E3 w- l" Y5 x3 k6 N·         Engineering fully integrated electrical buildings
% c' b% f0 h+ W; Y; m' E' X0 C, C
7 _) i) [$ G* B& i/ @9 c- k·         Reviewing vendor drawings
( W! F0 i  D9 c' B
4 b) ]2 ~7 d* U7 s9 p·         Analyze customer drawings, specification and engineering notes in order to create a design that meets the customer’s needs.

3 Z$ p0 k) H8 H# ^$ X5 B# ]·         Create a scope of work by identifying the company’s agreed to obligation.

% Z9 j) I1 L! D, ^, M1 U! L: p·         Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

: |# X5 P' \- g  S; G·         Assist project management and estimation with draft budget changes, based on customer design/scope changes.

·         Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.

·         Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

·         Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project and the company.

3 Z* ^5 t/ y% t$ [# k1 R·         Registered with APEGGA as an Engineer in Training
3 T2 v' v% V+ u3 g
2 O* t! P* J' s6 E·         Attention to detail is a must

·         Experience using AutoCAD is an asset
. S) s) d4 R2 E) G8 J' D' s* g% a
·         Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset

·         Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

·         Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.

·         Possess a Class 5 driver’s license
