Responsibilities

·         Engineering 480V to 38kV switchgear
2 v& Y  \3 {8 o6 Q
$ u' }% Z! a, _" u* b% h* K% A* u·         Engineering 2.4kV to 7.2kV Motor Control Centres including softstarters and autotransformer starters
8 y% ]3 I9 h( P7 I3 l' C; y7 c
·         Engineering fully integrated electrical buildings

·         Reviewing vendor drawings
% S3 n, }+ i. J. w4 d2 G6 B
& m1 o, o  I; A! W4 F·         Analyze customer drawings, specification and engineering notes in order to create a design that meets the customer’s needs.

·         Create a scope of work by identifying the company’s agreed to obligation.

( {5 F  z$ @2 X% t·         Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

8 Z) L$ }$ M1 w; h: O0 K·         Assist project management and estimation with draft budget changes, based on customer design/scope changes.

·         Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.

·         Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

·         Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

·         Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project and the company.

7 n" t& D+ `5 g, I2 q1 \·         Registered with APEGGA as an Engineer in Training

·         Attention to detail is a must

$ `  e7 X& y5 ]0 {* D  o) X7 h) S. z·         Experience using AutoCAD is an asset

·         Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset

& N  }" ]; e7 N; P8 W* b0 B, ~·         Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

·         Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

·         Strong interpersonal skills.
