Position Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
5 [* B- g( c* L# t• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately" ^' y1 K' \3 y) M5 K$ P
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter, F C+ E) |$ W# n- K# f# }% Y2 @2 q
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
) S) J0 G5 |; L- S, @• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker

- j9 |9 r* `. z5 i& `& y• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events0 R( ]$ y: ]( r) L" I6 D% ?
• Keep the reception area tidy and clean
& s( V7 m- Q+ S• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters

: [7 M; S4 m: C+ I6 v# x3 x• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person2 t% |" h0 _; O D- r- F" Y
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset

• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook

• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience 1 C$ y( S! B) Q
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment8 c1 X+ D. N: G6 C! {! l. t' u0 u
• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism+ O* }5 h2 Q- T7 y @) I3 ~
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
