The opthalmologist likely felt confident about his/her diagnosis based on the symptoms without the need for culture test. It's hard to say. 7 m( I4 I/ S7 R% j/ iIn your case because it's getting worse, the best bet would be to go to ER again and specifically ask for a different referral for a different ophalmologist. !
