Mandatory Qualifications:

•        Several years of practical experience in Trade Finance activities
+ [( f- b/ o/ w+ l7 g" j) b. e2 Y. }
•        Thorough and complete knowledge of the Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits, the Bills of Exchange Act, INCOTERMS, world shipping practices, and Canadian / Foreign customs

# ?) x+ F) N8 i* n9 A. ]' V•        Strong knowledge of statutory requirements, International Law and Customs relating to Letters of Credit and Bank policy as high level transactional support to customers is required

! K" F1 i" \! a" b5 B7 x6 n( r1 _! h: P•        Capable of applying knowledge in accurately assessing / mitigating transaction and compliance risks and making judgemental decisions on problem transactions

, ~! G* u4 R" m/ F8 u•        Comfortable working in an environment involving significant risk exposure to the Bank.

•        Possess an ability to evaluate high risk, complex transactions and make recommendations to the Senior Assistant Manager to minimize and or mitigate potential losses to the Bank and its customers.
