• Supervise and co-ordinate sales staff and cashiers 9 ^7 W; o. u: Q6 \; U1 w
• Assign sales workers to duties and prepare work schedules + d9 a, g, F) X1 I
• Authorize payments by cheque and the return of merchandise % Y7 _1 t- J# R! l2 k' d1 c
• Sell merchandise to customers
: r9 q) {0 t2 E9 n9 e) K! r2 `• Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages

• Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters + V8 a3 i: g1 ~
• Hire and train or arrange for the training of new sales staff
