Position:         Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6212)

Shifts:                 Rotational / day / night / weekends

Main duties:
•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
  }6 _* L& h+ r0 Y- ^, }  f•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
/ ^: r1 [8 b" ]' }•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
•        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
•        May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

Job Requirements:
•        Completion of secondary education is required
•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
: }9 D: X: R3 h, N•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
