Position Summary: : S7 [* L w o L
Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person/ m& V: z) z4 S3 P( \3 [
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST* R3 @7 }" h. y! X7 i
• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately
- r, D4 r0 g* e4 ~, l6 J; Q• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter
" E. x6 G# S% a- A( s4 s. N2 v• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents. \0 d1 l5 |# e- h
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker
- W; A9 d5 z- T• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events

• Keep the reception area tidy and clean" O; L Z5 L) C* p" _, [, K
• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters( T$ Q# ?) B3 o! e0 Y. [- x
• Maintain front counter service files! c3 E& k$ v- M$ k- ~" a& ?
• Perform general office duties as assigned

% s: A' M, ^, e3 B* \Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:5 q+ E$ h$ }7 p9 T4 p. Z' l
• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person
- w5 f, S4 H; L" y$ q. l• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset
- }$ Q' m0 h: b' r8 c• Good English writing and oral communication skills
$ {+ ` {7 L) c( g7 V7 K+ \; Y+ D6 v• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients7 P- J& T _* L$ t1 O6 R7 C2 ]
• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook, S, z( a( P. H; B4 p$ w$ d0 P* \
• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately

) J3 x0 R: U7 j, L1 e' w2 S• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience 9 c& [# _0 H. U0 W; C
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment8 L& ?9 M2 B% L k0 W6 P
• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism$ [0 l4 L f5 W F% c# @% Y
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
