Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
3 y3 g# n6 v0 m7 D( ~. h% i. X•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
1 f# `  _, E1 \8 @! `% I$ C) Y•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
) V. |0 L6 p0 q+ v# b•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
8 N. y( l+ n' ~8 m/ L0 A0 W0 ]6 y5 \•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
$ r3 `% ?& I9 g0 v+ L3 }9 Q•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
# _/ c( }$ C- X; }8 t( |•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
' o, X2 k, C8 a- W! |•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
: x: n6 V: ]3 r$ R9 }  Q* X( U•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
$ L/ M) f$ x0 f% _•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Qualifications
0 Z: n" P" X4 N. v6 c9 k3 ^Requirements:
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
