Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:. z- Y+ ^0 \( Q* v* h: n
• Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
% d4 q- g, f( H3 N% r1 F• Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.7 i+ A4 c/ m2 w( P2 E, j; P
• Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.- s8 I; F1 R% R4 x1 E
• Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
, J+ ^2 X6 q( _6 @! ]3 s• Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. . B# u# G# S% h; Y% l% e
• Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
0 E- ]2 g# y& [• Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
3 d9 J0 I% u$ j• Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
2 R6 h/ D5 C5 @7 `" q {$ g• Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
0 q( d3 B* G4 z• Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
! y3 I/ L! K# F$ n4 \3 w• Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
+ g4 m V7 }' o( V6 w• Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
+ r3 j! E- E4 w u. P, d( J• Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
! H3 g. S8 Y3 Q/ `. N2 n8 @• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Qualifications4 M. ~- K( d, L% p9 r1 ~
Requirements:
( [! o/ P" o" `7 O% G5 z• Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
! g- f2 F9 P8 N& ?" U# ?% a. r$ | m• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
4 N, P* s- Z' z, l4 ]" D7 ?4 M! C• Strong Union Relations experience required. 1 L2 ]- d" S2 D
• Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.( n/ }" U* b% _+ e2 G
• CHRP Designation is an asset.
