Description
( ~" l, }" ]+ R+ A3 z- \+ RTracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
* w; X, B! z$ R& T+ t* NReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:  e# x  _* u% D8 _! E, @" l
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.9 C0 Z. h5 R* n' B" A0 Y" n
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
& P% \5 C. a9 S: B•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.6 h0 q& p4 ?: ^) c. M7 u& _! l
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.) s# D$ c, M4 m# u* E" W" M
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
2 _1 |' p) ~5 o4 ~! ]. w+ N•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
4 b( T4 Z8 s5 @" Z: M, [5 c% {•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
& @+ K! R$ |: e3 H: a•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
5 Q8 ^; _5 ]1 |* f2 d9 x•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
8 W5 l  o) X* s+ y8 P, \•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
! h# C7 w& z( U% g1 C- c•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.4 [6 I' a) m' E$ r4 n1 Z
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.+ v& p  g+ {; v- A( M; X" {. C
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

Qualifications
4 M& B* F- C8 q* v% Q2 QRequirements:# n" k: M6 I% b" O8 \. \3 G
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
; ~4 i$ L/ q2 u& }+ K% W! e. L% I•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. % q  d. M# b. m9 `. z4 a. o
•        Strong Union Relations experience required.   t& G. ?5 i  x) g( M! o
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
/ h8 M- s% z2 u•        CHRP Designation is an asset.* U* Z1 y$ q) u$ u! D
