Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
* G8 Y( J" C1 d" W% |0 {0 x+ WReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:6 i" M! d. D* h3 z
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
: }5 ?  [+ Z; g9 g4 G4 z! x+ ?( ~•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
+ }( ~. y0 f/ e9 B% R. |. B•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
: ?! p- `8 ~) p  z9 A•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
0 k6 t( D- Z. q) B•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
0 q6 G& r  ~( o9 `/ P  j( o•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
& j# `$ \+ n/ o  o' p•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
$ |; w2 G' y+ C8 z( \•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.3 S  O( O* k0 \7 w3 z3 V
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).  f9 k. T/ j2 `& c/ |  d
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.0 u8 ^6 Q" t( a. B2 u* }( g3 `
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
8 {; x" f, \1 q•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
; Y5 `8 ~! @* k9 }2 f•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
- K7 p( {& j/ s6 U•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.! F/ \( U+ J6 i  B
•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

1 p1 L+ f0 d$ i0 ?* X& aQualifications
$ w; b8 p5 i! M; w8 i. `% {! LRequirements:6 M, j8 @1 D9 H1 P1 ~) G0 J
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
$ w3 t: P( L+ B0 f4 d: Y•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
% @6 [& I% q: q) P2 V7 v0 A2 o•        Strong Union Relations experience required. 7 T) w2 p5 B/ {& r5 j( s
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.9 u3 |, U( ^  D) B& s
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
