Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
$ p6 n6 Z* |% w! a9 h$ r/ \•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.# v2 c( b9 b% A$ J! C* \
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
: _, c+ W% }5 `•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
* K7 `( M! K1 x•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.% @" f: B) r) i- ]1 X' |
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. / z8 @0 I+ ?  N* B; o7 {2 U
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
( [, B1 M- g/ `  V% e•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required./ B  G7 |# Z/ V9 v3 A
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
4 O8 u* X( [; O" p# z) V4 [# r, V•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
7 E* _1 M% G' q* p/ {•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.  l: C/ s7 V8 ]  D
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures., F2 F; U9 o# m3 l: j: X6 S; G
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.  `$ Q2 c. J6 @# g( v
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.. |3 S2 M2 a7 |7 Z$ T" g0 B9 E% q
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.% _: n- ~  c4 D4 l1 m
•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.# L: g! \& a9 j/ ?; s3 j& C- a1 o

  ], F. q! _8 i1 C6 o8 t) H. ORequirements:
% \4 K5 `; U; D•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. , ^6 G2 }+ {7 Y. {
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
- F; X( o; h/ K+ `4 ^% M•        Strong Union Relations experience required. + y5 ]3 U* I% `1 G& }) l
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
* c# [/ z! c& z. V% Y•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
