Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:8 O1 }8 n6 A4 r9 x5 g
• Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.

0 R$ a$ m) n" A8 T• Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development." ]4 j& X( R% b, j6 j' J. q! C
• Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
& t5 o) Z+ e. r: N8 ] c: I• Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
" b0 G: m2 u7 s3 t, J" ^0 z6 ?• Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
& U& N2 }" a8 B- U F2 D% x% ]• Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
) H. F' w8 R$ l* e• Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.4 T+ {4 I4 e1 B$ B
• Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).) ?/ K: o( w6 s# y4 x; a9 W3 J
• Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program. K% R- j4 F" H/ }1 U: F, K" Y u( w7 T
• Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.# ^6 p+ L) C( w
• Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
; ~: g6 ?; ^5 Z9 r( l• Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

Requirements:
u1 C7 J) a0 U3 c- E) [! }: F• Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. - i1 q6 T7 z- G0 t; p
• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
; V( O/ x+ L- \: I) J9 @# N• Strong Union Relations experience required. " W3 V) T5 }0 q# Z) C7 ?9 u5 m
• Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.1 S( h, D; h% q! v) T/ Z
• CHRP Designation is an asset.
