0 r; c9 O: P% g8 ]Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:6 m9 F$ ]; Q% A  M0 j8 Q
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.+ Y* I; O7 P% @. y8 m6 e; N
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.- X' x% G4 c8 e5 I  G- t9 J
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.; C/ ~/ i3 |+ ^$ }: p
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.- _4 L4 Q; k* }- f+ r( ~- [4 Q
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. 0 u2 a1 d" H' X% o) L1 Z; Z
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
! C+ ~3 [$ C# `4 Z& c' y+ W•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required." x+ a% p" |/ b0 ]1 B. I+ ?9 J" [
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
# d5 C. m0 N( Y2 z) k" j•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
; L% ?! C* o) `$ n0 `" c$ S•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
' Y, Z$ ^6 ^% }: e7 s2 Z/ T. g* V3 ]# V•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
+ }: W; `) i0 M  y3 B( E( Y•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.& X! w7 @* F" d1 ~. r
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
  x" p! v' P# y1 k•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.7 H+ S8 J7 G- r. ~7 j
•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

' Y$ ^4 g0 k. h% Q4 eRequirements:
  g: m4 L- U6 O. F' r% P•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. / P$ @! n/ R: Q* V' X: X$ D
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. ( x8 u# i# D# v" V
•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
  b! i' W: N  o. q3 B0 O  l•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
; Z- _( \4 M' `. Y) O* }•        CHRP Designation is an asset.. d. U$ B1 j4 _: j% o4 I- r
