Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.. y1 _+ T; v& d, Z
• Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
+ ?4 K0 B" I5 }7 H; F2 D$ m• Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.: w4 g; E' h3 }2 N# }! o
• Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. - `* n: s/ }" n; V* i: C
• Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.* K s! {+ j/ t" ?# G9 V
• Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.' P Q/ x( A3 ~( m0 c# i4 P
• Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.2 E6 E, I2 F/ d7 ]- y {8 ^3 b
• Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
: j7 X5 G/ m2 o1 O- {9 d- j• Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.' d+ V- m" ^3 n& }& b% l
• Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.

• Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.% q8 E. W+ w( s5 S
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Requirements:
' w6 K; n' i( n9 |! |! K) |• Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
% @ y: k& ?! q" I• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
# T2 G+ Y5 E3 u- B/ G8 i$ a• Strong Union Relations experience required. 9 e! A; S# z* c4 c& T) U5 N9 u
• Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.: `# o6 B3 ? i9 S3 D/ C. G7 M+ b
• CHRP Designation is an asset.) V, `' d, Z3 {
