• Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed( ?# n1 z* x3 b: Z+ |% ?
• Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components
c! T0 X' E; u5 q r• Hammer out dents, buckles and other defects using blocks and hammers0 @* @; L/ \/ y! i1 c1 W
• Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams Q& ~& x! S w( P6 d( X
• Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills using wrenches and cutting torch and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
! w9 ^, C; c5 W o- `• Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment' A; l$ f7 h1 I$ m
• File, grind and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools8 c0 e. E4 V4 c4 l& G' k, p
• Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
, T) x( @5 [3 D• Mix paint, blend and match colors$ x* E/ p$ J% j
• Apply primers and repaint surfaces using brush or spray guns5 x0 d4 z! t7 K7 I m& q
• Repair and replace glass components such as windshields, windows and sunroofs
, Q7 F8 C* d) P" ?* Y5 D• Repair or replace interior components, such as seat frame assembly, carpets and floorboard insulation

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Completion of a three- to four-year motor vehicle body repair apprenticeship program 8 O2 G Z! u' N( B
or2 M! ?! k# D0 |% T5 V; B8 ?( V
A combination of over three years of work experience in the motor vehicle body repair trade
