The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

8 @5 S8 W/ ^' I, i% ~• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
* C4 p* F9 ]: b' {4 O• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
8 \. X4 ~* |  u5 x- X• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
* d, x* T9 r$ _, s( d• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

, h$ |. o% Z& Z0 @+ a; @Minimum Qualifications:
9 y7 P# w7 O: j5 CEducation
• Completion of a high school diploma
) n7 V/ e& |7 V: j) x7 w0 Q7 \• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
- L" s# j  i% @2 U8 A3 w• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
" f' C: e, s3 l• Standard First Aid with CPR
: m$ U1 o% d) @1 l• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

Skill Sets
7 G# l! b. d, X6 k$ G3 `$ n% O4 l• Good verbal and written communication skills

! o% d0 _: U0 X! O) q! q, f- gSalary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
