The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
4 d1 e  C2 q, e8 j& _% Y5 J• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
' l: _8 Y2 s0 |- Y6 K6 V+ }* \• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
  n# b0 z8 i- N% O. a8 ~• Behavior management
" _( D1 n: n" f• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

* f4 J2 f, Y& E) }; o* ?Minimum Qualifications:
Education
• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
# i" g* `* `  E1 ~/ \Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
5 Q/ f: A. d: s) w3 ?. g• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
