The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
1 C0 J% X7 m9 M' N1 O& }! \• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
$ t5 t9 K* }  t4 D5 C, _! \, f• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

+ _: q3 E6 n! D* a9 I/ l3 m3 \Minimum Qualifications:
Education
• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)

* u# f: m% M2 {1 a+ q• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
* x7 {' J0 H( e* k% g8 V• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
