The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

2 L/ {5 `9 T, J  WResponsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
' ]7 S$ D# |" T( q- N) m. g• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
% C, z. @: e4 Z4 n$ x) p& V• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
5 O% g7 G% F% p# s% F% m/ o• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
: P6 z) S( k( @1 Q: }• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
- q' {( ^% Y! C* v7 {• Completion of a high school diploma
9 F" _, A/ F+ H1 R! i" {: |# p• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
5 L: S6 B, C" r. P1 _# q• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
1 e7 ~) V. R+ E. d9 o% X7 m• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
: k( V4 D) f2 A$ z; x• Standard First Aid with CPR
# H& ^* {1 J+ O. G: C' }  F• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
! u& X, D- @  ^7 y6 ^/ r• *Medication Administration

Skill Sets
2 S1 M; ^9 B, i: G! S" R• Good verbal and written communication skills
