The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
! t  [! o7 _6 V" Z! B• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
* Y1 l* V7 Y4 M' C3 @3 {0 n8 e/ L' i• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
9 B$ A; k( t4 b% j) |& J• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
; O% A/ t' g9 t9 }  Y# Q• Medication Administration
. ?+ ^* g/ {) |* v. k, _• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

! W% {! a' w8 Q" e7 |Minimum Qualifications:
Education
• Completion of a high school diploma
; g1 {5 O0 L+ F) f• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
& z0 B# g) O. c9 ~  {" s• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
4 K6 l& x3 ^8 F( s3 M# j2 h1 B• Standard First Aid with CPR
+ {" ^/ M2 f9 L3 |• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

Skill Sets
- ~5 l+ t9 k  e3 Q. F) u• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care

Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
