The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
; K5 N2 H) H0 w, m5 f2 r+ X• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
7 o1 r" E( Y  l  C' Q• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
  E" Z8 |0 y- u7 ^9 E9 Z' [• Behavior management
$ {9 x% Q* X  Y, [1 X" l• Medication Administration
8 |; b" ~" e  n% T; ]• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
$ f1 I; X% |/ h+ i3 c! q• Completion of a high school diploma
- R+ ^+ r, H# o+ [2 z• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
& F, ?" y+ `4 f# B+ Y$ b0 h• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
+ n2 p2 L( R' @8 |, F$ O9 n: b: G• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
, v; ^. O, y1 q, p! H* {; F• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
+ e, ]2 V. x8 B• *Medication Administration

Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
