The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
0 ?3 [9 c+ r# w. w* y• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
% D2 B$ l. B) a) n$ b5 |* ~: |2 \) H• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
/ t/ _% G! p* B" y5 b, P• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
+ t9 p+ i; H$ N* o& G• Medication Administration
8 F  I1 D2 F) d* ?• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

7 k6 a0 E. x& [7 W$ h9 `Education
• Completion of a high school diploma
- a, u9 @, K1 k, E, |) B* D• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

• Good verbal and written communication skills

Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
