nine years and our mission is to equip youth to engage and inspire others to
% o- j( Q! x! a5 V) P, Ipeacefully resolve conflicts and develop healthy relationships in their communities.
; G: @7 _5 n3 b' a" V9 BThe YOUCAN VERTO Project is a Government of Canada and Government of Albertafunded

project that will bring at-risk youth together into a unique 15 -week groupbased) j* W* |. m* x
employability skills program entitled “The VERTO Project”.1 v; a1 |) p, m; ~# @4 x8 ]
The goal of the VERTO Program is to assist participants in obtaining and maintaining
. s* X a3 i2 q5 I% K7 Jthe skills necessary to bring success into their lives. Verto program will expose
& _: c6 P' E0 E* Yparticipants to a wide range of components focusing on: employment development,
& Y9 p3 F" D6 r6 j' A5 Hpersonal wellness, technology learning, conflict resolution, and exposure courses.
x3 @( Q5 e3 l- q8 iAdditionally, we will incorporate topics around health and wellness, volunteerism,5 _3 A+ ?- l: ~# H8 ^
and leadership courses. Verto youth will be provided with a six-month employment c0 ] V, Y& o. p* K
follow-up once the program is completed.

Verto project will run from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday at the
