Position:        Youth Leader
Duration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
1 j* g0 s9 ^: d0 z. V  ZCamp 1 – July 04 – July 14
Camp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
! `2 G) C7 e" RTime:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
*might work in other time in some specific days

, J, y3 s/ n6 T1 e( y/ zDuties:
: p4 n2 r; j' A+ C2 q7 tTo assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:
* J2 _$ ?& K: b0 G! Q) m4 q& J
 Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
% J- s. c% j4 B/ ^( j+ G, O Take attendance if available
; a% h0 |- L8 i$ s( Q2 T Provide positive modelling to youth
  h$ Z) X& Z' | Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
 Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
 Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
3 j# B/ |4 L, I2 H/ Z Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
) u% K4 C$ U6 D+ o" s" \0 { Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
/ e* [: ^8 h5 e5 s Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
 Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
7 t" {- ^1 i0 F Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
 Assist in program planning/design
 Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

 Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
 Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
 A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
5 a3 W  L# @9 A+ E- }& q Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
& U& C/ I5 Y1 A# \  n6 z+ v2 i Able to work independently with minimum supervision
 Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
 Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
" }) z7 S$ j2 ]5 Z Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
