The Position
The Jerry Forbes Centre for Community Spirit: A Capital Campaign for 630 CHED Santas Anonymous, is looking for a
0 H; c( d, k5 S: s" mskilled and professional office administrator to join our capital campaign team.
* |0 }* h% z, X' D3 Z3 W7 }Duties and responsibilities
3 R- B1 \' p: S( _8 X+ _General
• Handles communication by telephone, fax and email
• Is responsible for photocopying and all filing
• Records minutes of meetings when requested by the project leader and manager of marketing and fund
( D) H8 m; U' t  j% U' R8 u$ Jdevelopment, distributes and files same
1 o4 u3 N, `* |  w1 w0 ]% h1 k• Participates in maintaining a binder of current administrative procedures
• Archives files
/ j4 A8 }( L( t  W* q, T• Assists in the production of Thank you letters and tax receipts
• Updates donor database and compiles weekly volunteer and other reports
• Appointment and meeting scheduling
• Assist in planning and preparing for special events
• All other tasks required for the smooth and efficient running of the office
/ v$ q8 K! J  XAdministration
• Provides administrative support to the project leader and manager of marketing and fund development as
required

. d; n& J) z6 g( n5 t! v• Accounts payable complete to checks
: t) v$ |9 }- Q# i• Creates Bank deposits and takes deposit to the bank
• Creates and distributes monthly financial reports
Qualifications
• Skilled use of MS office products including database systems, spreadsheets, word processing and Power Point
• Knowledge of other software products such as financial systems (Simply Accounting) and donor management
software (Income Manager)
• Ability to flex time as required
• Clear criminal record check
• Requires personal vehicle

• Part time – 24 hours per week.

Vision: To create a legacy of volunteerism in Edmonton, fostering collaboration between non-profit organizations by

Once constructed, the Jerry Forbes Centre for Community Spirit will become a small, working village of charitable
& J* ~0 h4 z0 M% z2 ?4 p5 g0 Aorganizations sharing resources and talents for enhanced program delivery. It will provide affordable and dynamic office
& U, B$ r8 g5 f+ Oand warehouse space to non-profit organizations in need -- and become a legacy of goodwill for decades to come.
