The Position

4 J7 h2 C( _. i, T5 yskilled and professional office administrator to join our capital campaign team.
Duties and responsibilities
- a& g& V+ f+ [& u+ n, k; DGeneral
• Handles communication by telephone, fax and email
) v, E( t4 ?4 U9 `1 e+ M2 n• Is responsible for photocopying and all filing
9 x# e- y% h0 X$ b1 \* c) p7 k• Records minutes of meetings when requested by the project leader and manager of marketing and fund
development, distributes and files same
% ~0 C% b7 n7 m( t" N0 b* }• Participates in maintaining a binder of current administrative procedures
5 A6 B: e$ V& l5 t5 f7 q/ J3 C7 I• Archives files
$ e- h$ ?1 r+ r/ x4 A1 {• Assists in the production of Thank you letters and tax receipts
9 U! V0 l1 @/ s. J5 I4 Q• Updates donor database and compiles weekly volunteer and other reports
• Appointment and meeting scheduling
# X" ^5 X; x3 ]9 d: `• Assist in planning and preparing for special events
" H7 G! M5 D! q3 W- `. Z& X• All other tasks required for the smooth and efficient running of the office
Administration
$ j! [% K' r9 B5 z7 I& m; M+ P/ k• Provides administrative support to the project leader and manager of marketing and fund development as
required
" C6 A0 h- V* c# U) o4 EAccounting
% K3 ^. w' ]5 ^• Accounts payable complete to checks
6 H2 z0 e% H* f. e! Z- T9 u) w• Creates Bank deposits and takes deposit to the bank
• Creates and distributes monthly financial reports
Qualifications
• Skilled use of MS office products including database systems, spreadsheets, word processing and Power Point
" x+ U: d7 j- ?4 t# V  w6 {• Knowledge of other software products such as financial systems (Simply Accounting) and donor management

, S+ E/ a9 {' |• Clear criminal record check
% H, f( M, f6 q; o) M0 k8 Y4 ^• Requires personal vehicle
Hours of Work
# \7 l4 |, A. W+ }• Part time – 24 hours per week.

630 CHED Santas Anonymous is spearheading the Capital Campaign to construct the Jerry Forbes Centre for
Community Spirit: a 70,000 square foot multi-tenant, non-profit centre and volunteer workshop.
Mission: To provide healthy, affordable and vibrant work spaces for Edmonton non-profit organizations, as we dream,
grow and work together.
Vision: To create a legacy of volunteerism in Edmonton, fostering collaboration between non-profit organizations by
developing a sustainable, multi-tenant centre promoting synergy, innovation and community spirit.
Once constructed, the Jerry Forbes Centre for Community Spirit will become a small, working village of charitable
# L4 ^. N0 Q5 d4 h# I6 H, y# C) [organizations sharing resources and talents for enhanced program delivery. It will provide affordable and dynamic office
0 W6 G' `# x, D1 nand warehouse space to non-profit organizations in need -- and become a legacy of goodwill for decades to come.
