Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:+ B1 f* n9 y% v! y2 x0 q* Z
- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;6 l. I, c# Q5 e
- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.6 r1 y$ G% q) s; b0 \8 X7 d' O6 a7 J4 U
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.
