1. It's cool.
! T& ?3 k" z+ M5 s! u4 s/ c4 e: g& z2 Z  m
(可指人或事物)也就是 something good or acceptable;situation is under control;being calm, gentle, courteous or good-looking;meet teen's standard.
    That's cool;he is cool;this is cool.
5 u9 S4 W7 Z: ~2 Q6 C  J    Skydiving (或surfing) is cool.(跳伞或冲浪运动很不错)
& f! r, S* s4 j3 O
0 r# }( G. j7 m$ t& ~/ u( [# Z7 O主词可用任何人称的单复数 (I, we, they 等),动词可用 verb to be 的任何时态 (is, was, were, will be, have been等)。
2 \1 W' J/ K2 b! O( m    She (He) was cool in the past.
! b3 o  N; `$ @" E    That's a cool T-shirt.(好看的运动衫)
6 b; U; Y2 l+ Q$ F0 ?- ?* C+ `    He (she) is a cool person.(文雅礼貌的人) * y7 j  F/ N0 b9 o' l; ]5 @

5 w) w5 a% {: w6 u7 L0 n( c但是如果说:Are you cool?
- o* A. J1 I5 P. Q; ^7 r  m    She looks as cool as a cucumber. 又是恭维语,是说她很 calm and charming; not 9 N4 n- c: e* |) p9 i
    emotional.
5 B7 p0 E- F4 h2 t / u: u3 m4 m" u# ~6 m4 q
2. Are you trippin'?
$ U4 T3 E% Q" a: c  d* W
这个字是现在分词当形容词用,是指行为异乎寻常,也许受到吸毒或喝酒的影响,而显得神魂颠倒、奇形怪状(to get high on drug such as LSD),也就是说:要不是受到药、酒的影响,你为什 显得这样古怪呢?(Are you under any influence of drug or alcoholic? Why are you so crazy and bizarre?) 所以可以说: & {6 W5 D+ h# N- K' V9 V/ V
    They are trippin'. (= tripping) $ G0 L2 `6 f) g+ h( }
    She (he) is trippin'. " y  k* n# [' m1 C) l
Mr. A must be trippin'.
1 u! S- U; Z/ _- V) m+ k 8 ~( s* e# _& s$ q2 ?7 F
3. He is a nerd3 ]' `# s, k8 ?3 w6 T

(A person always buries his nose in books, but not good at social situations.)
, I/ \- h4 R% a    He used to be a nerd in high school
1 A: g7 S  G# N& g
/ l4 W* _( h6 _) }4. Yo baby
. Z. e; x( r5 M# U/ W# M# @. H( S& h; C" @7 ^, W6 s( U* b
(He thinks she is pretty and attractive, so he wants to speak to her.),也就是找话题,想要「打开话匣」。(to use as a form of opening line or pick-up line or to begin a greeting; try to know her or date her) 如果说:
8 X: }& s" Z. P0 z2 c    Yo baby, are you trippin'?
May I help you with something? I think I have met you somewhere before.
* |/ V8 ^' E. A: E0 t9 R* @    Hey, hey, hey, what's going on?“what is going on?”就是年轻黑人打招呼的用语 (a form of greeting or open statement) 或 Hey, hey, hey, are you going to the movie?(帅哥,你是去看电影吗?)
9 t( x1 B6 Q0 n" n) |; u8 C( @# ]  U. v# Y' ]: T7 c
5. She is a ho9 S4 n% f1 \% Y( v4 G- w
0 @1 V' d; p5 n0 h! A* K2 G
(a girl or woman gives sex freely without charge),也就是说:She is very loose. 或 She is a loose woman (girl)。
+ l7 S6 `0 z; m+ k. G2 f7 R( z' ]3 i    They are (were) hos.
# f& _" M3 _8 h% d; C/ A, Q    There are quite a few hos in high schools. (a girl or woman is paid for sex.)
+ @2 t  B/ @! o
4 T( F3 h2 K1 J' X% M6. Catch you later!
' ^% o' p- i% Z0 j9 Y
- l- f. (a form to say“good乡bye”) 也就是说:现在没有时间与你交谈,以後再谈吧!(I don't have time to talk with you now, but we can talk later.) catch 後面,也可用其他人称代名词(him, her, them 等)
( ^4 C  W4 f( M: @( j( {4 X6 x( Y有时年轻小伙子也用:I am off. 意思就是:I am leaving now; I'll talk to you again. 8 G7 R% {. i$ t" A
