An Edmonton man who operated a north-end daycare is facing numerous charges in connection to alleged sexual assaults against children at his daycare that span over 11 years.! G2 L d( ]! l8 l" g* N
1 W1 Q2 `* e( N6 s) f2 UWalter Edmund Nash, 60, and his wife had operated Montrose-area daycare, but the license was revoked back in 2002. Yet police say the couple continued to operate an unlicensed day home until late 2010.

The 60-year-old is charged with four counts of sexual assault, four counts of sexual interference, and two counts of invitation to sexual touching.0 ^, j7 w- M- O' Z: Q, f$ ?

The charges come from four victims, all of which were girls ranging in age from three to seven-years-old. The first allegation was brought forward in 2001, and police say the most recent allegation was brought to their attention in December of 2010.
