This is a new full time position, designed to enhance services related to relationship abuse within the communities of Athabasca, Barrhead and Westlock. + v6 H6 |8 a# J5 V5 D
: h H# m* H2 p% Q+ w' cResponsibilities
' R- c5 g/ A# N. ?9 M+ i• Coordinate training of the Duluth model for staff and community partners L! w/ f; F; l+ a; Q7 m3 s
• Oversee group facilitation, counselling and evaluation of programs
( Z: {! N/ U# D, Z y5 B$ P• Network and collaborate with community partners to develop community protocols" g% R; E, i" g8 [# M
• Coordinate program evaluation and report writing
9 E( b6 ]8 e+ j0 _4 Z8 v+ m, k* |2 y' U. n
Preferred Qualifications
4 l+ w" s8 }1 @3 N. l9 E1 D$ D1 ?• Bachelor degree in Social work or related Human Services field
, E9 N. E7 c6 n• Training & experience in the dynamics of relationship abuse
! x) o: ?0 a1 y- j• Experience in project management & report writing % W$ D2 k" T; r- M* A/ s& r" q
• Ability to manage a budget and be financially accountable; u, O3 n7 P- f& v
! k8 ^" o4 v& T7 L5 O5 D" m" P7 ?- V- O1 R, w
