This is how I view the effects of major road way on the location of newer neighborhoods:

Main entrance on AH

2) Worse: Terwillegar Garderns
( r6 j: y1 v5 Y. C- f0 zMajor roads on 3 sides (and a crappy neighborhood on the 4th)

3) So So:  Magrath etc.
Main entrance on secondary roads (Rabbit Hill)
Major roads on 2 sides
$ X- I+ J; g6 N, G# T& Q* e
4) Good: Upper Windermere, Eagle Ridge
+ q* z2 ~- X; r! ^) {Main entrance on "3rd level" of roads that leads to the river valley and/or golf course.
No Major roads on any side. No crappy neighborhood around. No visible power line.
