8 i5 z% S/ I' g6 E5 I$ n- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information5 {" B8 o+ B D3 `) s, P# f
- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
3 @, c2 H" u/ C) a9 b- develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP/ T) t) s) h1 G+ d4 J
- provide support to ISP staff
) ^$ X5 a/ L! ?+ S- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members$ F% W* T2 c9 Z
- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities/ ?$ A; [3 |4 X4 @9 C1 d
- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated
1 J2 @) v7 R4 ]/ y% j* N# _- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants& N. ?3 l& a% B; E4 l5 {% \
- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals
n2 ~0 A! k; s" n! B- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder) M/ s8 d8 t& f v M
- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.
% l F6 l |0 X- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities
- D4 r" ~) r3 |1 Q6 e+ v8 q- assist with front counter services as needed and assigned

Qualifications
# r! p0 t* w; j, w9 W8 b/ [. E- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
3 |1 J+ x- s1 d+ O% y. D+ I- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available
" e y: R4 q5 R0 J- A% [% f- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers
4 V, S: c- C& I3 ]; w& a$ h- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software. E- l9 Y: V% |
- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)
