JOB SUMMARY:
3 @& E! i4 K2 x' q7 PWorking closely with the distribution and warehouse teams, this position is responsible for load planning and balancing for Southern and Central Alberta

1 U6 t( A& ]% _9 M* {4 C1 ZJOB DUTIES:
6 Q* b; Y3 S+ s7 H( v" o) m        Balance loads efficiently in order to effectively utilize line haul trailer capacity;
% ?+ s% {! e& w6 n' J1 N, a        Load Tendering & Scheduling of Commodity Shipments
        Operational communication with all Transport providers
8 e: H5 K6 H6 d( s' w1 t  A        Booking of delivery appointments when required
1 y$ ^3 ?2 r+ @5 ^1 m/ g  b! N        Make recommendations in order to maximize efficiencies and reduce costs
! z; @5 w' K# n. x# {' V        Various reporting functions, including cube analysis, carrier performance & compliance, etc.
        Liaison between Route Settlement, Warehouse and Distribution;
        Special assigned projects;

QUALIFICATIONS:
4 H5 Z# Q% }0 o        High School diploma or equivalent;
        Post secondary education related to business or accounting is an asset;
        Experience working in a Distribution or Warehouse setting;
        Experience in the transportation industry an asset;
        Proficient computer skills, including Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel)
        Self motivated, with the ability to work under pressure and establish priorities.
