FUNCTION:
$ L% _9 U! j+ P2 C) k1 kThis position is responsible for the design and production of a variety of communication materials, both printed and web-based.

# e1 g0 E9 w7 H* h' uDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
; M8 q/ ~/ i7 C* N, [•        Create and prepare a wide range of materials for printing, presentations, public displays and events including brochures, newsletters, reports, advertisements and forms.
# M2 ~9 U( C6 c' t•        Liaise with our purchasing department and external vendors to ensure projects are completed properly and on time.
•        Create and prepare materials for posting on internal and external web sites.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
4 |: |5 u7 i" J* E•        Post-secondary diploma in graphic design or visual communications.
+ P) _: |. t& }3 T, V$ x; F•        Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of print production and web design processes.
•        Minimum of two years of directly related experience.
& C$ h! {9 f2 H( u- |+ Y8 M% w•        Demonstrated proficiency using Indesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Acrobat, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel in a PC environment. Experience in Dreamweaver, HTML, Javascript and CSS also an asset.
•        Proficiency in use of the English language.
•        Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
•        Ability to effectively multitask and work under pressure.
•        Willingness to maintain proficiency by embracing new technologies.
•        High attention to detail.
