CRNE Study Group for Internationally Educated Nurses

Directions for Internationally Educated Health Professionals (IEHPs) is offering a study
group to assist Internationally Educated Nurses in preparing for the Canadian
Registered Nurses Exam (CRNE).

$ c  }* G5 h7 V5 WThe emphasis is on reviewing materials as outlined in the exam syllabus through a
question and answer format. Participants will become familiar with the learning
1 e" l/ C  J6 c/ I# S% n7 cmaterial and develop test taking skills. The study group is co-facilitated by a Career
3 s$ {8 P+ i! o) C, t$ ~& _, k) ZCoach and a professional in the field.

% ]( V( g. h2 I& O3 W  Y+ P' DTo join the CRNE study group, participants are required to be deemed eligible by
4 H$ s4 j( O0 R: m9 O; xCollege and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) to write the
- {, Y9 d" c; C/ g" r  ?6 cOctober 5, 2011 exam. Individuals who are completing required coursework and are
% f0 z! J  ]/ Y$ {0 `# Eintending to write the CRNE, may be eligible to participate in this study group.
0 U# d0 p) h" F5 E9 kParticipants must ensure availability to meet study group attendance requirement.
Registration for eligible clients is based on a first come first served basis. Since spaces are
limited, early registration is strongly advised.

Candidates who live outside of the Calgary area may participate in the study group through
teleconferencing.
