Our government recognizes that the Internet and digital technologies are

( x8 n o# T/ d2 @& vCanada’s first comprehensive Digital Economy Strategy, we need to look
. C8 _1 _7 d, ^/ B* ^0 F! }carefully at how issues like UBB affect the big picture. We will be
1 b7 g; h6 F* w$ T! s' Kguided by our long-standing policies of encouraging competition and
; B8 `+ E8 K1 _# C% J! J# c4 Q7 Hinvestment, increasing consumer choice, minimizing regulation and allowing

& G5 c; q8 B; ]% OThe Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) has
. h3 P( P) I) k" Ychosen to examine these concerns that the government shares with a large
