Breaking News: Death at Jackpine mine
Monday, 10 January 2011
  j+ X: p& ^9 e( Y& k1 `) B2 qShell Canada has confirmed to Mix News that a death has occurred at the Shell Albian Sands Jackpine oil sands mine 75 kilometres north of Fort McMurray.

( B& n" `4 k+ V2 s' m2 k8 qEmergency crews responded to the scene at around 7:15 am, and the individual was transported to the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre where they were pronounced dead.

RCMP are on scene and the name of the deceased has not been released.
