Duties7 I# Q3 f ? P8 w& Y
Delivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items K2 e# e6 Q* A( r3 U
Obtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments( @' z( z# ]: a2 u( F8 {% Z* V/ Z% D7 n3 E
Ensures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound
8 N k4 k# c! L9 E! _, r& DPrioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead7 k0 J0 h1 m0 b# s }4 d
Operates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions0 V! ], }% M% x3 j4 o

Qualifications; o2 k# C+ Z ]7 c0 E2 _ N9 B0 O
Valid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.

( ^6 j# T; z/ _- }. a f$ bCurrent certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification3 [' o# g- \! D2 i( R
Training related to proper handling procedures of Radioactive and Biohazard materials
