, x3 m7 ^8 }7 t; G6 a+ KDelivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items
3 S, t5 W$ @9 j2 HObtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments
Ensures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound
+ P% c' n6 U' F! ^1 G6 ~9 `Prioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead
Operates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions
Performs related duties as required

$ p! Q% p8 [" _9 o/ u# |1 n5 CValid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.
High School diploma; previous driving experience required
5 l. F" n* U# B4 x0 LCurrent certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification
Training related to proper handling procedures of Radioactive and Biohazard materials
7 p1 ~, e! j  ]+ x/ `8 RAbility to operate equipment including forklift, power-jack, pallet-jack, Johnson bar
