Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)' \, p1 m: B6 @6 [1 }
Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required& X+ T2 ^$ o1 U) O9 m9 N7 x7 S
Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed

Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
' n" F: s2 _8 N) s/ p+ G6 fDemonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred) v% _4 [7 i4 C) b) k
Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
# @# h0 R) y7 ?Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
C {6 A( C" d+ f1 q5 qFamiliarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
