Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)0 a- X9 i' A7 y+ V
Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required3 C- P" L& y) G! V
Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed& |" @0 Q+ |; c, n: S4 N
Performs related tasks as needed

Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
# F# O: |9 F2 A' t# J; c1 r9 Z0 ?Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
9 g. ]# |' B, |/ ]Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset, e8 z+ c, W# M- ?$ A
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
