  Duties
Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
% g. e- W* r$ @- M  VProvides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
& N( u. w5 b2 Y7 V% L7 E5 QPerforms other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed
Performs related tasks as needed
: U; E2 [9 G, R; u- _# E; Y, r& Y: SQualifications
; B, p; V/ Q* {' a9 LDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit

: f" ^8 ^% }) r, M1 L* rAbility to adapt in a high technology research environment
Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational and time management skills; accuracy and attention to detail
