  Duties
( E8 K' b  L: |5 A* C. Z! c! E; n# XAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
! r5 M3 [% Y9 WProvides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
  J7 F$ E' N1 k* CPerforms other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed
Performs related tasks as needed
Qualifications
% B$ n' k' v- q- j$ L' W8 TDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
. t, S) Z# Y- a! Y. A8 z$ x/ RSolid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
Relevant programming experience using Java, C++, and other programming languages

Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational and time management skills; accuracy and attention to detail
