Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)- B3 R0 a% w7 E( H% Z
Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required# x4 U# m* ?% ~/ z. o
Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed ?& T7 n- Q4 X5 u- t% f8 y
Performs related tasks as needed

8 u$ @2 F! T a" X1 e5 g" d* }Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred9 q& b& a9 ?* e: j2 a: y
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred! q! a6 p. {7 T% {# r/ a [
Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset7 L& z b6 x/ s0 L7 {: C4 l, I
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred. G# G4 J$ |; O2 V$ K
Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
