7 f. R- O) ~; H$ \Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
/ U) N/ G7 H& }% c1 U% g! A E6 |Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required/ j( A d- M! z( t' ~8 a
Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed

Qualifications
% Q0 H# Y8 L5 v& ~/ N9 n# Y, vDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred/ A9 I: ` @' j; `" j7 Y
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred% t* m$ \2 L. L X! d5 [
Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset. W E' s2 E _4 f1 \3 }
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred: ~+ k, }3 O; R. {/ R
Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit+ H, ~8 f. ?$ f% w8 g4 v
Relevant programming experience using Java, C++, and other programming languages
