Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

5 Y$ b) j1 B1 @# V+ W% v7 o# G■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
# M, i2 x# V- d& O2 F■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
% ^) h& t* g+ L4 k5 @, N7 i- aExperience and Education:
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
: ^. u; u. t! X. L7 |4 b$ i■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
+ ~% ]$ D9 v9 [/ d5 w4 }! g/ V* x+ L■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
' ?9 ?4 ]3 e9 e% D2 {■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
" Z. ]2 ?9 H& D3 ~4 Z* G' T■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.

■Marketing skills,
■Self motivation,

■Client liaison and business development skills, and
