Responsibilities
/ R! c& f+ @6 u: h' T9 g1 d■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
" C% W: Z/ P7 ]■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
) p4 @0 x5 W$ M3 n4 E# `4 T3 q- p& \3 W■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships9 ^6 G3 m+ Z% O! g9 L
Experience and Education:6 e8 R! @: @0 D" F
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.& _8 p+ U, L; i2 n9 ?8 R1 F! o5 r
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.! l8 @; G, T' y1 p& n
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset., G* d& n. e9 e
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;; j) d5 s O! Z! E. p y9 a
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
: F4 S7 f; X2 r" f {■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
$ U1 P1 z0 q* D- p0 D* K1 L# x■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
