Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

' V, I( g! p  R  E" \  ^5 @" Q* pResponsibilities
■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
Experience and Education:
1 ~/ ~  [# p  y6 M4 I& n■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
+ b) ~4 }: R- W2 i■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
; N! v9 e8 b9 s( j3 E■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
- H& d7 A& P* N* K1 R: r5 D■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
